8:00-8:30  |  Continental Breakfast for Pre-Conference Workshop Attendees

8:30-3:00  |  Pre-Conference Workshops

Leadership Building Blocks for Every Level

Note: This pre-conference session is only available to active Chapter, Region, or Board of Director volunteers.

Whether you are just stepping in or a seasoned volunteer, you will be able to walk away from this pre-conference with the building blocks to form a strong foundation or build on your current knowledge base.  You will learn the ins and outs of CSI, purpose, governance, relationships, roles, and so much more during this day-long workshop. To prepare for the session, you'll be asked to complete a series of short online videos (approximately 1.5 hours total).

As a result of attending these sessions you will:

  • Learn and generate “what if” discussion and how to engage in constructive conflict.
  • Work through common board leadership scenarios.
  • Be exposed to core board leadership competencies like goal setting, strategic thinking, and common (and often misunderstood) board responsibilities.
